Honestly very impressed by this for a newsroom movie, and in general. The storyline, character development, cinematography, all were spectacular. Writing was particularly great, very subtly depicting the intricacies of hierarchy, power dynamics, US-German tension, doing your job vs doing the right thing, and just so many other small concepts. I know it was probably intentionally “about the newsroom and not the actual news” but feel like it needed a bit more of a jewish lens to it given what it was about.

Late Night with the Devil 2023
this movie was shot in such an interesting way, and the script writing felt awesome… for 80% of it. the last 15 mins or so it took an absolute nosedive in the most disappointing way possible.
