Absolutely killer drama where it seems like each shot and line of dialogue exposes a character attempting to not expose themselves. Every secret and decision seems to simmer just below the surface and Yang reveals them in ways that make every emotion jump. Yang Yang is the anchor we all need in our lives!

The Thing 1982

Road House 1989
The action movie of action movies. Nothing has captured and embraced the insanity of the American action movie like Road House.
Perhaps it’s combo of men in bars getting mad at each other leading to violence, amoral businessmen, and a hero with a vague troubling background but everyone wants to fuck him anyway. Not to mention lines like “the only thing missing from my trophy room is your ass”.
American action cinema has been chasing this high for 50 years and will be chasing it for at least 50 more!
