Heretic 2024
This was one of the most refreshing psychological thriller/horror films I have seen in a long time. It’s a film that lingers and has you thinking about the themes for the next few days, even raising thought provoking questions and discussions that I found myself having with friends. It’s different to the usual horror movie as what is scary about the film is not the usual action and scare jumps, but rather the themes of faith and belief that it explores.
In my opinion, this will become a classic and is possibly Hugh Grants best performance.
