A Man Called Otto 2022
I don’t really watch lifetime movies aside from in passing when my stepmom has them on during Christmas, but I figure they’re all like this. Oh my goodness gracious this had the subtlety of getting beat with a brick and one halfway decent performance. The desperation to get points across while also making the audience cry with this cookie cutter plot is painful.

Left me wanting to know more. The CFL, the random start-up football leagues, what he is doing now.
Great recap of the highs and lows that we witnessed during the rollercoaster of his career, and it had a few memorable nuggets and anecdotes (the oil money, crazy private workout).
Just wish there was more. Feels like a Part 2 is in order for someone who clearly is better off being left alone to better himself, so I doubt it’ll ever materialize.
