It was a super sweet film. I thought it was really beautiful that they worked with a former inmate and current RTA entrepreneurs. It gave them the opportunity to shine in this film. This film had a lot of intentionality, it highlighted the real Sing Sing as it is apart of RTA (Rehabilitation through the Arts). It gave audiences new insight about the importance of the program.
I also really loved the real life videos they played at the ending of the film showcasing the real plays and performances the inmates would perform. *cue the goosebumps*
Filmmaking truly has no borders 🤞🏽🎥
