FUCK Woody Allen and this pretentious movie, only a weirdo would write about the decay of humanity and its values only to cast himself dating a 17 year old girl
The only redeeming qualities are the cinematography, Meryl Streep, and Diane Keaton
Can’t believe it took me until the end of the movie to find out why it had that name
There’s so much sincerity in this movie’s simplicity, both in the storytelling and the lack of flashy camera techniques, that really reinforces the humble beginnings of Rocky and makes it all the more impressive when we reach the end and we see how he made such a tremendous change in so little time.
I’m sure there’s so much written about the dichotomy between Rocky and Apollo, why he’s especially drawn to Adrian, and how a sense of purpose can lead…
Very intrigued that this is Margot Robbie’s all-time favorite movie
A movie filled with passion and some Tarantino flair sprinkled throughout; it’s the kind of movie where everyone has a memorable scene except for the leads
I kinda wish Tarantino was more open to giving out his scripts to other directors (similar to Aaron Sorkin or Taylor Sheridan) so we could have more movies like this that have his style but are still allowed some room to focus on other substantial elements
