The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2011
A dark, twisted, demented, deranged story that is parts Hitchcockian, parts character study, parts generation gap, parts media fraud, and parts male's treating of the female to that lesser than a dog, is a film to be seen with an open mind and one that can take the viewing of rape. Blade Runner 1982
A film about what it means to be human. A film dedicated to classic noir. A film that showcases that 80's fantasy future world, if not the film. Visually stunning. Vangelis' sublime score to boot. A film that puts to use many actors from the Shaw brothers studio, which sadly no longer exists. A film that leaves the mind wondering over and over again about whether or not Deckard is human or a replicant. Won't go into spoiler territories, there. You'll just have to watch it for yourself, and come to your own conclusions.
