An unsubtle movie for unsubtle times. Really enjoyed this. Big and messy but I was never bored. Robert Pattinson is incredible. I think people dismissing the Mark Ruffalo performance as him doing Poor Things again is not a great take.
A real “feel bad” movie but like, looney toons energy. Don’t know how soon I’ll rewatch this but that’s nothing to do with me not liking it. Definitely need to revisit Okja after this. Also whoever is in charge, just let Bong do whatever he wants. We should want movies like this even if they’re unpleasant.
