With persona being my very first Bergman film I was nervous going in. This is my first, and the first installment in the Nosferatu campaign and I am the opposite of disappointed. Now with this being my first silent film I didn’t really have any expectations going in. The switch from the post silent era to the silent era is a big jump and will definitely take me some getting used to, however Nosferatu was undoubtably my first choice for this style of film (The Cabinet of Dr Caligari was up there).
