  oh this was SO CLOSE to being something. the tone never really got its footing and the writing just felt a little disjointed at times. kinda of like two movies mashed together. 

  this had some good laughs and some good kills, but I just wanted MORE. I was waiting for it to lean into completely absurd and wild and gorey and insane and it just still somehow played it safe. 

  also has some of the weirdest cameos that are visited once and then never referenced again

  oh tobey maguire’s spider-man, they can never make me hate you; however, I wonder how you had the ability of looking both so young and so old in this (wait he was 26??)

  I saw this in a rerelease in theaters and my cheeks actually hurt from smiling the entire time. I could probably sit down and watch it again tomorrow and still be just as entertained. It’s just so good.
