It's a Star Wars film, of course I loved it. The easiest way to describe it is an artfully done Star Wars prequel. In that they are both huge sci-fi space epics, largely set on desert planets, with lots of talk on politics, sprinkled-in action of no-name soldiers with the occasional major player, and in the centre there's a lead role destined for Hayden Christensen.

Except instead, we have a wet mop playing the chosen one, named Paul, dear god why.

Thought I would appreciate it a lot more, turns out only a little more. I felt real bad about the $8,000.

Great premise! Maybe I will watch the show if it's got more of those ladder kills. No Willem Dafoe though...

I always appreciate the rare moments when a film gets an earlier release in Australia than the rest of the world. And of course, I love to see movies that stir up controversy to construct my own opinion.

This film has such a huge heart, it's clearly well-intentioned in all aspects of its craft, and it's a shame people are so ready to dismiss it without even seeing it. Knowing someone with non-verbal autism, there is no way the movie…
