  nobody reads a book like they mean it in this movie and that’s a crime in my world. i guess i get going for a more light high adventure tone instead of the intrigue and suspense of the book, but man don’t kids deserve weighty movies too

  fx still look nice though

  watched because i will, in fact, watch any version of much ado about nothing and thought this might be good for a laugh. honestly?? 10/10 enjoyable adaptation and solid - if a bit hilariously overdramatic sometimes, but it's based on shakespeare, so - tv romcom. they don't keep the dialogue in this series though so skip if you're a purist.
