    The film is well shot and often well acted throughout, yet still struggles at times to be completely compelling. That said, Jude Law delivers one of his better performances in recent memory. Would be interesting to see him venture down this path more at this stage in his career.

    Not sure I ever got fully used to the puffy faces…  Felt a bit surreal seeing two actors who definitely didn’t need filler running around in puffy, waxy faced splendour. 
    Puffy faces aside, film was light on entertainment and at times felt like an ongoing Tag Heuer advert. 
    All in all, a VERY generous 3 stars.

    An empty, vapid and self gratuitous film that offers nothing new, and therefore relies on cheap thrills and mundane shocks, with the hope that word of mouth will carry its appeal far enough. A film that will be easily forgotten in a mere few years and if ever mentioned, only due to a few ridiculous and unnecessary scenes.
