I wish chalamet didn’t play bob dylan because the entire time I was just like that’s timothee chalamet not bob dylan. Edward Norton was magical as pete seeger. The costume design was so spot, probably one of the most well done parts of the movie. A lot of the outfits were identical to ones I’ve seen the folks being portrayed wear- especially joan baez. We all know bob loved to smoke but the asking for a cigarette, or saying he was going to have a cig every scene was kinda tiring bc that run time could have been used to have some genuine dialogue.

Utter shit. Underdeveloped characters so bland they felt like the seven dwarfs with bossy, spunky, brainy, doctory, nervy, and one other who was so forgettable I can’t even recall. Sarah’s character arch was underwhelming and unsurprising.
I was holding out on the thought that maybe hot bloody women could at least safe it but while they were bloody, they were not hot.
It felt like I was forced to sit through “the grey” again but instead of a tundra it was a cave and instead of wolves is was naked men reminiscent of voldemort.
