The Remarkable Life of Ibelin 2024
It's been a while since I cried to a movie, but man, this movie did it for me. I was already teary-eyed in the first 30 minutes, but by the last 15 minutes or so, it broke me.

It's weird to see a Bong Joon-ho film with a big budget and high production values. It's weird to see a Bong Joon-ho film that is so to the point in delivering its messages, even more so than his other English films. It's weird to see a happy ending (that isn't in a bittersweet way) in a Bong Joon-ho film. It's weird that, despite all that, Mickey 17 is still a great movie.
And you know what, it's weird that I even doubted him in the first place.
