    I don't want to say it fell flat... or did it, just a bit? I still had a bunch of laughs and enjoyed the sci-fi framed theatrics. Considering it's not a dedicated comedy, I personally didn't exit the cinema feeling entirely satisfied with the more satirical style. Albeit, this film successfully expresses its contemporary societal satire with fabulous Ruffalo, Collette and Pattinson pizzazz.

    Outside of the Amazon stream that would spontaneously drop to 360p and transition through 720 back to 4k consistently throughout, it was a cute, quaint film that can possibly give the viewer a touch of existentialism. The heavy CGI could be a touch distracting. Knowing it's there all the time makes one subconsciously look for it. But the emotional through lines are apparent, and very Universal. It's hard not to empathise somewhere along the way.
