A very stylistic film about a rather reserved getaway-driver who fancies his neighbour... However nothing stays as it is, the "driver" starts to show us his darker side and the film turns into a brutal gorefest. The combination of the bloody action packed scenes, the artistic way of portraying the story, the stunning way of shooting make this film rather unique and very entertaining.

The Artist 2011
A successful tribute to the silent films of yesterday. Although it was a very entertaining film it lacked some connection with the viewer. It felt like a little style experiment by the director, a successful experiment but a bit to shallow as a whole. In the end it's all very charming and you will definitely be smiling throughout the film but the director did not fully use its potential.

A genuine masterpiece of the cinematic world. Kubrick was a true visionary of the future, admittedly we don't live in space yet but the movie has a truly contemporary feeling. Next to the astonishing visual quality of this film, it also excels in baffling the viewer with some of the most debateable scenes ever to be put in a movie. Maybe this is were the real beauty of the film lies, the endless pondering, the never ending discussion...

Forget everything you ever saw, this is the very definition of beauty. The cinematography of Tarkovsky is unparalleled. His shots are eye candy taken to the next level. The characters are so intriguing as is the entire plot. A story shrouded in a veil of mystery and one you will never forget once you have witnessed it.
