The Bridge Curse 2020
This movie neither scare me nor caught me off guard with an unimaginable plot twist but it sure did a decent job keeping me curious enough to keep going. I still think the urban legend part of the story was a random addition to the “curse” itself but overall, it wasn’t a bad watch. Managed to spot a few loopholes here and there but they aren’t big enough to be worth mentioning.

The movie was undeniably long, but given the need to condense a vast amount of content into a single film, this was to be expected. While the pacing managed to cover the essential events, I found myself wishing for more depth in the characters’ introductions. Hellboy: The Crooked Man 2024
I can’t remember the last time I watched Hellboy but I think he used to be a more vibrant, glossier, sweatier shade of red (his skin looks matte now, he became older?)
Update: The movie ended up being not bad at all. The supernatural and magic addition was what changed it from ★★★ to ★★★½ for me. I’m a sucker for these things.
