Really solid and fascinating ‘80s drama. Surprised Douglas won an Oscar for this, must not have been the strongest year in that category.
He’s much better in other films like Falling Down and The War of the Roses than in this but was still excellent.
What a crazy franchise this is to go from Dead by Dawn to this, but it’s probably one of Raimi’s most inventive films and a tonne of fun, not as good as the previous movie but still pretty great.

Kind of plays like a greatest hits compilation of the entire franchise.
Shockingly bad, this truly needs to be seen to be believed, if only for the sequence in which the Rock Biter jumps on his rock-cycle and sings "Born to be Wild". Yes, that really happens.
