This movie is the antithesis of fan-service. Of the two characters you really care about at the end of Aliens, one is killed off at the start of 3 and the other at the end. It’s not *quite* as successful in expanding the plot/universe as Aliens did, but I found it fun, coherent, and a seemingly clean ending to wrap up the franchise (psych!)
