  Eh it was so long and kinda boring. I don’t really get the significance behind it/the plot in general. The score kept building and building and Matthew was making very inspirational faces but it never got to any new, higher meaning you know? He just kept saying “DONT YOU GET IT” and no, I didn’t get it :(

  She became her brother…. for 2 weeks… lied to everyone around her… acted like a complete fool… for a soccer game. And then SHE MISSED THE ENTIRE FIRST FUCKING HALF OF SAID GAME I WANTED TO SCREAM!!!!!!
  As early 2000s rom coms go this is pretty mid and I think some minor changes could have made it a lot better but I understand it’s a cult classic for some and I respect it

  “the best leader is the one who doesn’t want to lead”

  such a cute (and true!) story!! the cinematography was really pretty and colorful although i do admit towards the middle it became a bit experimental and kind of gave me a headache... other than that: the script was very thoughtfully made and oddly very witty and funny. acting all around was perfect. the movie wasn’t afraid to delve into deeper topics, although it could have gone deeper. the overall…
