I have a vague notion of what the plot was supposed to be, but I can't really piece it together. Somehow meant to be progressive but also really homophobic and sexist at the same time. The historical references make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Also, weirdly shoehorned in nazi symbols.
When I originally watched it right when it came out I greatly enjoyed this film. Now I can't help but feel the covid lockdown references age it immensely, and I don't mean that in a good way.
The beginning of this film lays them on THICK, you have Blanc playing among us in the bathtub, need I say more? I wonder if my opinion on this will change in the future as we remove ourselves further from the pandemic.
