You put a man in drag, you have him take care of his estranged kids, and then you have this wonderful happy ending....damn, I did it again? Started talking about a better movie that is more iconic and actually worth watching?

Inland Empire 2006
Lynch's behemoth of a film. Spending every waking moment dissecting this will lead only to suffering. But it's a suffering that we absolutely love. You can tell that David Lynch is flying by the seems of his pants but that ending comes together so strongly, and thus, we are brought into a beautifully strange heaven. Just keep me away from that Laura Dern jump scare. That's not in heaven. Nope.

Decision to Leave 2022
We all hiked up to Charlottesville to catch this gem. A crime thriller, love story, dreamscape caught our attention from the moment it started; and held us till the very moment the credits rolled. Striking visuals, fun story line and intriguing juxtapositions await those who get to catch this in theaters.

Meek's Cutoff 2010
Very simple. Very stripped down. Some would say too minimalistic. Some would say it's perfect for true to life story telling. All normal western tropes and cliches are put aside here to tell a more grounded story. Performances carry the entire film forward and they are a delight.
