Longlegs 2024
I haven’t gotten to see nearly as many films this year as last year but damn did this one not disappoint! I loved the cast, overall vibe and the dialogue was so masterfully coordinated to drag you through this macabre tale. Every time I thought I was settling in I’d have the rug jerked out once again and feel yet more perturbed. I can’t wait to revisit this one down the road and see what I missed!

After hearing how much this movie got dunked on I was honestly a bit shocked after watching it. I won’t say it’s revolutionary for the genre or a stellar film but it felt very middle of the road. I’m a sucker for anything involving mythological creatures and for me it felt like a cohesive inclusion for the plot.
