  Werner Herzog has this line that always affected me where he discusses how the duty of the filmmaker is to provide society with "adequate images..." that without them "our civilization is doomed." Its a crucial task, and for our civilization, these are crucial images.

  All the South Brooklyn imagery is amazing and its really great, but like every other contemporary film, it's 30 minutes too long. Being unnecessarily half-an-hour too long is the great cinema virus of our time, and the bodies continue to pile up.
