The visuals are unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and paired with the music, they feel like enough for life itself. La La Land isn’t just about dreams and love—it’s about how dreams distort reality, how ambition is inseparable from love, and how we ultimately exist in romanticized truths. But even romanticised truths are still, in some way, truths.

    “It’s the Aphrodite!” What 😀

This movie didn’t even have a developed plot but Meryl Streep and the songs ATE.

To clarify I somewhat enjoyed watching the movie but I didn’t find the emotional depth and logic I wanted — this movie could’ve been made a lot longer. I loved the movie, it’s just not that good. 1 star for the absolutely perfect songs and 0.5 for Meryl Streep carrying the film.

My favourite moment ever was The Winner Takes It All they show Meryl glowing even when the background is the glittered waters from the sun.

Great, funny, and just congratulative. The title track is catchy and uplifting. A popular film in a community that deems the topic taboo.

At face value, the film is full of corny yet catchy songs and typical Bollywood numbers. However, it’s such a refreshing take on technological advancement and serves as a cautionary stale, I really wasn’t expecting it. It’s filled with accessible humour and although the pacing was not well done, if I were to watch a romantic comedy on technology — it would be just this.
