  The more Denzel movies I watch, the more I understand why he’s widely regarded as one of the best actors ever. I didn’t think I’d see another performance on par with Malcolm X but he delivered with his portrayal of Detective Alonzo Harris.

  Shoutout to Ethan Hawke, who was incredible as well. Their good cop/bad cop dynamic was captivating from the start to finish, which more than made up for the relatively weak story.
