    A lot of fun but that's really all it has going for it.

    Some of the car chase sequences are great, the Heath-Robinson-esque setup with the gas canister especially, and just like with the earlier F+F movies you can tell it was a major inspiration for GTA but unless i'm misremembering I don't feel anything in GTA ever really compares to this in terms of raw exhilaration present in the car chases here.

    Mickey 17 was exactly what I expected when I heard Bong Joon-Ho was adapting another piece of sci-fi literature into an English-language feature. His work rarely concerns itself with subtlety, and here, he once again dives headfirst into themes of class struggle and the commodification of human life.
