I really enjoyed watching this film. The cinematography and editing were incredible. Clearly a lot of importance was placed upon creating a strong central aesthetic (from the production design, costume design, sound design…) and it really elevated the film.
I thought the performances were amazing! Which is a credit to the star studded cast as well as the director. And not one i-phone face anywhere to be seen!

Creative, wonderful, and thoughtful; Poor Things examines the journey, desire, and curiosity of people in the world in a charmingly mystical style.
The costumes were so gorgeous, I’m going to dream about them every night and build a shrine to Holly Waddington.
