  toxic traumatized gays in COVID lockdown-era brooklyn. disjointed and kind of a nightmare, but also warm and shocking and funny and leaves you feeling kinda sad and empty. lockdown was such a weird and lonely time and all of the depictions i’ve seen up until this point haven’t really touched on it like this has. you love your people, but sometimes they piss you off and sometimes they fail you and sometimes you all just kinda hate each other. but you’re there.

  jesse eisenberg and kieran culkin have such insane chemistry, it’s hard to believe they’re not actually those weird cousins who probably wouldn’t be friends if they weren’t related. startlingly funny in one moment and sobering in the next. a truly touching depiction of how it feels to be both stuck in your pain and miles away from it, running ever faster so it can’t catch you
