  Gorgeous, resonant, and timeless, Station Eleven unfolds itself like some lost myth. It brings to mind the verdant post-apocalyptic sweep of The Last of Us, coupled with its anchored characters and beautiful storytelling. 

  I’m incredibly biased—I adore post-apocalyptic stories. There’s something so wonderful about them. I admire the show’s quick smash-cuts to the devastation of a world left behind and yet, despite it all, still going.

  Well worth the wait and its pushed-for theatrical release, Evil Dead Rise is an absolute blast—the cinematic equivalent of getting water-boarded with Red Bull as somebody blasts heavy metal in your ears. Yet under all the noise are protagonists you genuinely come to care for, making their descent into bloody terror all the more heart-pounding.
