i loved everything about this. probably one of my favorite robert pattinson performances and honestly my favorite bong joon ho movie ive seen so far. loved the story and how all the elements and themes came together. mark ruffalo and toni collette had me laughing out loud the whole movie. they were hilarious. also the design for the creepers reminded me a lot of the part of freddy vs jason where freddy turns into a caterpillar and smokes weed out of the hookah 😭

ever since i saw mikey on screen for the first time i knew she was destined to be a star. the dedication and attention she put into this role are so evident. i loved everything about ani, and the use of “faggot ass bitch” throughout. i see why it got all the oscar wins and buzz. loved the ending especially. five stars!!

this was a very fun and fucked up watch. i really like the portrayal of guilt and grief, and how it set up the story. i felt very connected to mia, and sophia wilde’s performance was stellar. the scares were really well done and gave me the most intense chills and goosebumps at certain points. i was gagged during the scene with riley using the hand. i really loved the special effects as well, they added a lot more terror to the movie. i havent been to the theater by myself in a while, i cant even remember the last time. i would definitely watch this again!

thoroughly enjoyed this movie as it went on. its a really easy watch and keeps your attention. it starts like a pretty typical slasher, but with a setting during covid. with that being said, it exceeded my expectations. wont be surprised if more covid-set horror movies come out, but this was pretty well done.
