  I was a hater for too long. Truly epic trilogy but just a bit too long for me. I felt trapped as the last 10-15 minutes went on.

  Questions:
  Where were they going on the boat?
   Is the evil wizard still in that tower?
  Why was the army of the dead there?

  Someone told me it was a musical, but the opening song still caught me off guard. Honestly really liked the musical element.

  I probably should have just saved this for a family movie night. Still a fun watch if you want a lighter movie.

  This brought me back to my Lego building days. I loved that the story is framed as a child’s imagination (which basically allows it to do whatever). It was funny and even pulled at the heartstrings a little.

  My Lego lore was way better tho.
