genuinely think this is my favourite modern romcom ever.
a perfectly succinct 1hr 30, directed by a woman (and you can tell (complimentary)), incredibly funny and British romp. not to mention the impeccable writing and wild plot twists you will not see coming.
on top of all those extremely valid reasons to love this film, it also manages to feature the dreamiest, female-gaze-y, leading man, portrayed by Dermot Mulroney. charming, gorgeous, emotionally intelligent and always in control… literally what more…
