Whenever I visit my Dad we always watch comedy specials together and Nate Bargatze is one of his faves. We probably should have saved this for tomorrow cause my Dad is asleep rn. He fell asleep watching it and there's still 20 minutes left. But it's a pretty solid special and my dad is snoring rn.

Despicable Me 4 2024
A considerable step down and possibly a franchise low. Which is actually quite disappointing considering that the preceding entry (Minions: the rise of Gru) was undeniably a high point of the franchise.
The comedy that once flowed naturally in the writing, feels extremely forced in this entry. This all feels so derivative and contrived.
The character work leaves much to be desired. We see our favorite characters in new situations and they get in quirky hijinks but no real development…
