  as someone who did a whole ass essay and podcast on this, most fucking historically accurate show ever. (my yearly tchernobyl fixation is back)
  also, ive watched an interview of the makeup artist and he was explaining how hard it was to recreate chemical burns bc theres not a lot of pictures of it, especially tchernobyl victims, and purely based the makeup on the texts he read about radiation poisoning. he nailed it and like he said “less is more”.
