This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Absolutely brilliant moments. The acting, editing, and cinematography were 🤝🤝. The ending, gobsmacking.
However.
The writing is where this film falls apart. Firstly, the film fails to really delve into the morality of falling in love with a murderer. The relationship itself is not built up, it just starts, and overall the story doesn't have focus.
For me, Seo-rae lacks depth. She is a bad person, but doesn't have any redeeming factors even though the film acts as though she does. The wife also has zero impact.
