As someone who knows the difficulties of disability, loss of insight, and that panic that comes with change, Sound of Metal strikingly moves through its plot quickly and well-formed cinematic language with such a topic.

The mass appeal of an erotic revenge thriller is violently pleasing in all it’s the suspense that only something of the director could conjure up. It’s mesmerizing and without subtlety just a fantastic fucking film. Moving and visually intoxicating and perfection. Masterful and has all my praise.
