impeccable. watched this after going to Rio and hearing stories about the favela life. some of this is true and the way the movie captured it, told the stories of many people and DID IT SO BEAUTIFULLY. The cinematography was off the hook. I don’t like violent films but easily one of my top ten films.

Visually stunning and the soundtrack is just...might I say also the sex scene in combination with the protest riling up. It was so intense!!!
I think the subject matter is highly relevant with the wake of the black lives matter movement, this film almost foreshadows what happened earlier this year.
