wow i could really appreciate figure skating. from this. never had the chance to observe it so calmly and for so long. beautiful film. the joy, the timidity, the small town feels, the homophobia not so much....
moving. detailed. injustice and living with grief. her strength shook me. beautifully made and directed. coming back from 1 month in Rio, I knew nothing about the military dictatorship so it was a necessary watch.
you know its gonna be corny as hell and contain a random musical scene when its nollywood and bollywood combining
not gonna lie tho, the daugther-father relationship really grew on me.
Visually stunning and the soundtrack is just...might I say also the sex scene in combination with the protest riling up. It was so intense!!!
I think the subject matter is highly relevant with the wake of the black lives matter movement, this film almost foreshadows what happened earlier this year. I like how it shows the duality of each character “victim” and “perpetrator” ~~ some people don’t understand the message of the film but that’s the point, reality isn’t black…
