Hit Man 2023
Linklater is a master of camera movements, and he knows how to tell interesting stories. His problem, however, is an over-reliance on similar techniques, fast paced gag reel editing moments, classic piano driven bops, and most detrimentally, narration. This movie doesn’t need to tell us what Glenn Powell is thinking, he’s a talented enough actor to show it in his dialogue alone.
