    The most grotesque part of this film was the execution. Flat written, unhumane characters with poor motives, engrossed in a plot with an extremely repetetive, cliche morale thrown in your face as if you were a child. The film featured flashbacks constantly, and was being too obvious to make their point, as if the audience was incapable of thinking.

    I don’t particularly like opera - but opera music is indeed dramatic. Which this film wasn’t. It doesn’t matter how much incredible opera performances you throw in if the film is bad. I felt nothing. The dialogue was flat, the plot didn’t know what it wanted and went in so many ways but at the same time no ways. It was like there was no thought behind the film (or Ai?). Throw in some flashbacks randomly, and opera songs randomly…
