For such a star-studded cast, this was really boring.

I hated everytime they cut to Cal in the future jumping around in the animus. I get it, he's doing the same things as Aguilar.

Why was everyone somehow talking audibly enough to heard but I never understood anything they were saying.

Overall it was pretty mid. I think it could have benefited from a few cuts and a bit more foreshadowing. Christopher Walken carried the movie on his back and got us through 2/3 of the movie where otherwise it would have been very boring.

My favourite Saw so far, by FAR. I was making fun of it being a clip show but it was actually so good how the stories blended together with Hoffman's recruitment, Strahm reliving the old games, and the new game(s) happening all at once.
I also really enjoyed the lessons in this one.

If I had a body like Ghost in the Shell, I'd show it off too.

The death of the little spider bots was devastating.

I think I followed the plot, but I feel like I would have preferred a simplified story. I know this is a condensed version of the anime so it was limited in having to keep the same beats, but it didn't create a great ending, just lots of confusion.
