This has got to be one of my all time misses - my initial take of the film. I had read the book, and found the beats obvious and bland. Coming back this time after forgetting nearly everything I got to really enjoy the filmmaking. I’d even go so far as to say this is one of Fincher’s best. What a movie.

I feel like i could write about this movie for hours. So much to love and admire. This is the most beautiful movie I’ve seen in some time, and in the running for all time. Every shot in every scene pulled the desired emotion right out of me. The performances were all wonderful. I feel like Greta Lee told me 100 stories just with her face.
