Made me FEEL THINGS. Such a creative concept that was executed remarkably well. Editing was incredible and the performances felt real. The third act blew me away which was topped of with a wonderful ending scene.

Embrace your faults and the faults of those you love.

This climax to the Neon Genesis series was indescribably bold, impactful and profound that it played a major role in shaping how I view death now.

I cannot give this series enough credit for its creativity and immersive world that it created for its viewers. Shinji is all of us seeking for the acceptance of being oneself.

    Congratulations

This movie is a true masterpiece in media that transcended the barriers of the west and rightfully found itself as a world wide spectacle. Hideaki Anno took so many risks in this series and did not let anyone alter his vision for this beautifully told, immensely impactful story. This distorted universe is dark and twisted and with just 26 episodes Anno built a deeply convincing environment that the state of the world is in. This movie is jarring and doesn’t…

The single most important piece of media to me in my life. I doubt this will ever change. This introduced me to the beauty of Japanese culture and has shaped my life and interests in ways I only realize now.

From a film perspective it’s a true masterpiece to me. It gets full marks in just about every category and masterfully brings you into its magical world.

    I love this movie
