The film is lively when it tries to stay funny, thanks to Pankaj & chugs along fine otherwise backed by a comeback to form of sorts, for AR Rahman. The big issue I had was the problematic introduction & immediate dismissal of the possibility of a special child. The exact same premise, without the dismissal would have brought home the point much better.

Parasite 2019
Only some films make you regret not choosing something to do with movies as a profession and Parasite is definitely one such work. Bong Joon-Ho came up with a more in-your-face depiction of capitalism in Okja but here it is layered astonishingly into a tale that provides ample comedy and thrills for entertainment seekers. The lead performers are brilliant and there is always an air of uncertainty as to when the suspense will explode & when it does, the effect it leaves on the viewer is remarkably good.

Earnest effort from Vinoth & the team to bring Pink to the Tamil audience without diluting its intent. And throw in a riveting action scene that's actually out of place, you get to see two dimensions of the star actor Ajith! He's known to trailblaze and choosing this film is an ultimate tight-rope walk which he manages pretty well.
