holy FUCK. he said this movie would be batshit yet still somehow every single aspect caught me off guard. the actors were actually very charming esp the main guy but the sfx team actually deserve immortality and/or hell for their work. the result of being locked in a basement with 20 barrels of blood, a pound of rubber, a bag of coke, and no one to say no to you

my roommate said this was good and i truly do not see how. it was a deeply mediocre and boring movie about how tech bad and parent good with like 4 absolutely fucking Bat Shitte pure gold oscar winning moments. when she sang the sia song i actually cackled for four minutes straight. no star rating bc it fully transcends numbers the aunt is the most boring main character in existence and the ear scene changed my whole life for the better
