quite interesting to see the age of the couple seeking divorce being one near retirement. the way both spoke to one another held so much contempt and disrespect; something that’s been way too normalized to witness amongst elder couples in families.
The open ending leaves for bit of an easy way out especially after recalling their concern for each other in the last scene. But that is where the reality of divorce/separation begins. Especially for men whose life’s maintenance rests on the labors of women around them.
