Back in like 2018 I went to a Q&A with Jim Jarmusch after he hosted a Halloween screening of Evil Dead and someone asked him what the “scariest” movie he’s ever seen was, and he answered Come And See.  I went in blind to it about a week later and was surprised to find it wasn’t a horror film at all, although I completely understand why he answered the way he did, and was way better than I expected it…

    Totally Kafkaesque yo

I only found out this movie existed a few weeks ago and was immediately excited to check it out. I don’t know why it’s not more widely discussed as an Orson Welles masterpiece, because that’s pretty clearly what it is. How does it feel? Feels good Bob. A really good movie I had a lot of fun watching.

Like this movie better every time I watch it, which is surprisingly close to once a year. Just keep coming back to it. Really good flick about what America values and what it doesn’t, using the artistry of efficiently made burgers as its vehicle.
