Didn’t expect to see some of the best dream sequences I’ve ever seen when I put this one on tonight, nor did I expect to see some of the most hardcore archival footage I’ve ever seen, but it delivered on both. Great movie.

Back in like 2018 I went to a Q&A with Jim Jarmusch after he hosted a Halloween screening of Evil Dead and someone asked him what the “scariest” movie he’s ever seen was, and he answered Come And See. I went in blind to it about a week later and was surprised to find it wasn’t a horror film at all, although I completely understand why he answered the way he did, and was way better than I expected it…
